This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft releases a number of test previews for Windows 10, including build 17623 in the Fast ring with the Skip Ahead option as part of the Redstone 5 development. Windows 10 build 17123 rolls out in the Fast ring as part of the Redstone 4 (Spring Creators Update) development. And build 17120 was made available in the Slow ring.

All these new releases are just minor updates with small improvements and changes.

The software giant also released the ISO file for build 17115 for those who want to test the upcoming version of Windows 10 using a clean installation.

In a continuous effort to help mitigate the Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities, Microsoft is adding more updates to the “Microsoft Update Catalog website” to mitigate the Spectre variant 2 vulnerability to more intel processors, including Skylake, Kaby Lake, and Coffee Lake.

Windows 10 Fall Creators Update received update KB4088776 (build 16299.309) fixing issues with Windows Mixed Reality, and patching a few vulnerabilities with Microsoft Edge, Windows Shell, Windows Desktop Bridge, and more.

Although Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the release date or official marketing name for the next version of Windows 10, this week, we got a better understanding on when the Spring Creators Update (version 1803) will release and how the rollout is going to happen.

Microsoft Edge browser also arrived this week to iPad devices as a preview, which anyone can try using Apple’s TestFlight developer program.
