This week on Pureinfotech: Microsoft releases fixes to stop wiping out users’ files after installing the Windows 10 October 2018 Update. The fixes are available as a cumulative update that bumps the version number to build 17763.55 for those who already installed the feature update. In addition, the company released Windows 10 build 17763.17 that also includes the fixes to prevent data loss, but it’s available as a preview for participants of the Windows Insider Program.
