Microsoft already demoed the real performance of Xbox One in the real-world with games, apps, and live TV. Today the company offers a video on how Xbox One can be set up and customized for multiple people, using profiles and Kinect, and a second video demonstrates how to use Xbox One Snap feature to do two things at once (e.g., play game and watch live TV) with simple voice commands.
In the first YouTube video, you’ll see Larry Hryb (a.k.a Major Nelson) having a conversation with two Xbox design team members, Emily Yang and Zach Gutt, talking about some of the unique features in Xbox One. How Kinect can recognize someone who just walked into the room and has profile configure. And the video also shows that every signed in guest can quickly switch to their personalized dashboard and get to their own pinned sites, music, games, etc.
In the second video, you’ll see Yusuf Mehdi, Head of Xbox marketing, playing “Forza Motorsport 5” and quickly Snap the activity feed by simply saying “Xbox: show activity fee” while playing. Also he showed that gamers can also snap other apps such as Internet Explorer by simply saying “Xbox: Snap Internet Explorer” or watch live TV by saying “Xbox: Snap TV”.
Priced at $499.99, the Xbox One is scheduled to launch in different markets including the U.S. on November 22nd.
