Last year at CES we’s seen different manufactures planning to bring 4K TVs and we’ve even seen Panasonic Touchpad 20-inch tablet featuring a stunning 3840 x 2560 Ultra-HD screen resolution. But today at CES 2014 is the turn of Toshiba, as the Japanese company is announcing two new 15.6-inch 4K resolution Windows 8.1 laptops — World’s first in its class.
The first Toshiba 4K laptop is the Tecra W50: This is a workstation aimed to professionals who work mainly with graphics. The Tecra W50 is very thin and light with a 15.6-inch 3480 x 2160 pixels screen at 282 ppi featuring Nvidia’s Quadro K2100M professional graphics with 2GB of dedicated memory, and Intel’s Core i7 Haswell 4th gen processor, 8GB of RAM, two USB 3.0 ports with the Sleep & Charge feature, a USB 2.0, eSATA, HDMI and RGB port, network, and Mini-Serial ports.
The second Toshiba 4K laptop is the Satellite P50t as the Tecra W50. This new laptop will also features the same 4K touch-enabled screen resolution, though, more specific details about the graphics and processor is yet to be announced.

Both Windows 8.1 4K Ultra-HD display laptops are aimed to professionals and those who want the latest and greatest, and they will be available in mid-2014. Specific date and pricing are also yet to be announced.
