Bing is the second most popular search engine on the web today (after Google of course), so naturally, it’s interesting to see what keywords and phrases people are searching, for the most.

Ahrefs—a data-driven marketing platform—curates Bing’s most searched for queries and updates them regularly in a blog post, giving us an interesting glimpse into what the world has been searching for most recently.

Here are the top 10 most searched terms worldwide for Bing as of May 2019.

Google

Ironically enough, the number one most searched term in Bing is its dominant rival — Google itself. Who would have thought people would be using a search engine to find another search engine?

And its search volume is no joke. At 46,220,000 searches per month, it’s more than 12,000,000 ahead of the one in second place.

YouTube

The world’s largest video platform and the second largest search engine was the second top search on Bing in 2019 with 32,120,000 monthly searches. It’s no surprise since YouTube has become one of the top places for entertainment, news, music, tutorials and so much more.

Facebook

The world’s largest social network comes in at number three with 32,270,000 monthly searches. Facebook is clearly the platform of choice for most people when it comes to connecting with friends, relatives, acquaintances and even strangers.

Gmail

Google’s very own Gmail is one of the best and most popular free email service providers. With a search volume of 16,250,000 it comes in at number four on this list, proving that email as a form of communication is far from being dead.

How to Get Help in Windows 10

Windows 10, the latest operating system from Microsoft, is used among 70 percent or more of the global market. At a search volume of 13,610,000, t only seems natural that its users would want to know how to use it properly. With new blog posts, articles, videos and tutorials posted online every day, all that those Windows 10 users have to do is search for them.

Yahoo

Once the most popular search engine back in the day, Yahoo has fallen down to the third spot behind Google and Bing at 7.490,000 monthly searches. Still, people are using Bing to search for the world’s third most popular search engine.

Facebook Log In

Yes, Facebook was able to grab two spots in the top 10 searches for Bing. Either everybody is wanting to log in on a new device for the first time or they just haven’t bookmarked the Facebook login page — because “Facebook log in” saw 6,380,000 monthly searches.

Get Help With File Explorer in Windows 10

Windows 10 also stole two spots on this list. The File Explorer seems to be the main feature in Windows 10 that people seem to need help with the most. It’s actually tied with “Facebook log in” at 6,380,000 searches.

On This Day in History

The first nine spots of the top 10 Bing searches were all taken by popular web platforms… but number 10 was not. It turns out that people really love to indulge in a little nostalgia by looking back on the events of the current day. This term saw 6,300,000 monthly searches.
