This article explains how to switch Gmail accounts in any web browser. First, you must know how to link your Gmail accounts.

  • To link accounts, log in to Gmail, select your profile icon > Add another account and enter the second Gmail address and password.To switch between accounts, select your profile icon and choose the other Gmail account.

You must first link your Gmail accounts to toggle between each account and access accounts at the same time:

  • In the upper-right corner of Gmail, select your profile icon and choose Add another account in the pop-up menu.
  • Enter the second Gmail address you want to add as a linked account and select Next.
  • Enter the password of the second account. Then, select Next.
  • Repeat this process to add additional Gmail accounts.

Switch Between Multiple Gmail Accounts Fast

To switch between two or more Gmail accounts, or to open the accounts side by side in browser tabs:

In the upper-right corner of Gmail, select your profile icon and choose Add another account in the pop-up menu.

Enter the second Gmail address you want to add as a linked account and select Next.

  • Select your profile picture or name. In the list of linked accounts, choose the email address for your other Gmail account.

As an alternative, forward all your mail to one Gmail account and set up the account so that it sends from the other addresses.
