This week in tech we covered one of the biggest announcement from Google in quite a while. The search giant is entering once again in social networking with the introduction of Google+, which seems that this time is going to bring serious competition to Facebook — this is diffidently something to check out –, also watch the YouTube playlist with 11 videos demonstrating the features of Google+.

In other tech news Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 10 platform review 2 for developers, which bring a much improved HTML5 support that delivers better performance and security for web applications. Also Microsoft has released this week Office 2010 Service Pack 1, and for this article I have detailed all the most important improvements and fixes, so you know what you are installing, plus I have listed the download links for Office 2010 SP1 32-bit or 64-bit for those of you that cannot wait until Microsoft pushes the automatic update.

Also for novice users or for anyone that always were wondered, this week I posted a great video explaining in great detail how the Internet works, it is a 15 minutes video that is worth watching.
