This week on tech, Windows Phone 8.1 update released to developers, but anyone can easily update. Cortana, digital assistant, also debuted with the update for Windows Phone but it’s only available for customers in the U.S.A. (Though, there is already a workaround to enable Cortana in your phone outside the United States.)

Continuing with Windows Phone 8.1 update, Microsoft is bringing some nifty features to the phone such as Start background, move apps and content to SD card, and more. So, don’t forget to read this week’s How-To guides to configure these features.

Xbox One gets April update a few days back adding a few new features to the console including friend notifications and Kinect improvements, among other changes.

For those of you having some trouble with Windows 8.1 Update, this week I published a new How-To guide that deals with uninstalling the update from your PC.
