This week on Pureinfotech: Windows 10 build 14342 begins to roll out to Insiders. The new update brings improvements to Microsoft Edge and Bash on Ubuntu on Windows. Websites now can open on apps, the Skype UWP and Feedback Hub get updated, the Settings app received new improvements and Microsoft decides to remove Wi-Fi credential sharing feature, and there are also a new few visual changes.

The latest preview update of the operating system also includes a handful of fixes and several known issues.

As part of May 2016 Patch Tuesday, Windows 10 receives a new cumulative update for PC and Mobile, which fixes various issues and patches security holes.

Microsoft confirms that Windows 10 Mobile will finally add support for fingerprint scanners later this summer. The new feature will be part of Windows Hello for phones, which currently only support facial recognition authentication.

Someone figures out how to install Windows 7 on an Android Watch and post video on YouTube. However, it won’t make the smartwatch any smarter as it’s nearly impossible to control the operating system on such small display and the watch takes three hours to boot — but what that heck, it’s possible!
