This week on tech, Microsoft delivers the first cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile, which brings the build number to 10586.29. The new update only includes minor changes focus on fixing bugs and enables Windows Insiders to opt in their new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL to the preview program.

Windows 7 receives update KB3112343 and Windows 8.x receives update KB3112336 to enable support for additional scenarios upgrading to Windows 10. Specially, the software giant is releasing the updates to help users when they need to retry the upgrade and help the company to monitor the quality of the upgrade experience.

Continuing with updates, Windows 10 version 1511 also received update KB3116908, and while the update doesn’t bring new features, it does change the build number to 10586.17, and it includes improvements to enhance the functionality of the operating system.

Early this week, Microsoft rolled out a new firmware update for its Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book that finally (and hopefully) fixes the display adapter driver crashing issue.
