This week on tech, Microsoft rolls out Windows 10 Mobile build 10572 to the Fast ring of updates with a bunch of new improvements and fixes, including changes on Cortana, Skype messaging apps, offline maps, storage settings, and much more. However, the company warned that Insiders need to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1 before upgrading to build 10572.

Windows 10 build 10568 leaked onto the web, but it only includes minor refinements since the last official build release for PCs.

Sources confirmed this week that Microsoft will call its next major update “Windows 10 Fall Update”, and Windows Update will display the update as “Windows 10 November 2015”. The update is also expected to roll out sometime in November.

While, the software giant plans to release various improvements on Microsoft Edge with “Windows 10 Fall Update”, it’s been confirmed that extension support won’t ship in November, instead the company plans to release the feature during the second roll out of Redstone, which is the next major update for Windows 10 and it will arrive in two parts during 2016.

A new update for Windows 10 Insider Preview began to roll out early this week, but the software giant had to pull out the update, as it was causing Blue Screen of Death for devices with Secure Boot enabled. The company acknowledged the problem and has provided a workaround for affected users.

Xbox (beta) app for Windows 10 gets updated with the ability for Xbox Live users to find friends on Facebook, voice recording is coming to Game DVR on your PC, and the app now integrates the Xbox Store with various UI refinements.

This week, the Xbox Wireless Adapter becomes available for Windows 10. Lenovo unveils the new Yoga 900 Laptop and Yoga Home 900 All-in-One desktop running the latest version of the Microsoft’s operating system.
