• Surface Studio 2+ list of technical specifications.
  • The all-in-one comes only with Intel 11th Gen Core i7.
  • The new Surface Studio 2+ will be available on October 25, starting at $4500.

Microsoft has unveiled the Surface Studio 2+, an update to its desktop computer. As the name implies, it’s not a new device. Instead, it’s the same Studio 2 launched in 2017, but with new(er) internals.

The new version of the all-in-one desktop now comes with an Intel 11th Gen Core i7 series H processor, which is not a significant upgrade since Intel is already in the 13th generation.

As part of the graphics to drive the gorgeous 4K monitor, you will find that the Studio 2 Plus comes with an Nvidia RTX 3060, which is among the latest cards, but one of the lower ends. As a result, this machine may not be ideal for gaming since upgrading the graphics to a more powerful card is not an option.

The Surface Studio 2 Plus also has a 28-inch 4K (4500 x 3000) touch-enabled display with Dolby Vision support connected with the zero gravity hinge.

Surface Studio 2 Plus tech specs

In the release, the device includes three USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, which allow super-fast transfer speeds and the ability to connect up to three external 4K monitors.

The Surface Studio 2 Plus only comes in one hardware configuration with the 11th Gen Intel processor, Nvidia 3060 graphics, 32GB of memory, and 1TB of internal storage. The device will be available on October 25. Pricing starts at $4500 with the keyboard and mouse, and you can preorder now at the Microsoft Store.
