This week on tech, Lenovo’s controversial Superfish adware issue raised concern among consumers due to the possibility of hackers being able to steal passwords, bank information, and other browser private data from users. Microsoft quickly updated its free antivirus, Windows Defender, to remove Surperfish and the bad root certificate from Windows PCs, while Lenovo only offered a how-to guide on how to uninstall the adware.
